Chapter 18 response
Chapter 18 started out intense and sad because Katniss was firing an arrow into an enemy while Rue was dieing. I thought that it started out very fast but the book quickly began to slow down. I was so anxious trying to figure out what would happen next that I sped read. The end of chapter 18 made the book speed up again. I was not ready to stop reading because of what was happening, it was so exciting.

Chapter 18 was really intense especially when Claudius Temple smith told them they could both win the game i think they are gonna win because they are like the only other tributes that are both alive
That is partially true becuase cato and the other girl are still alive and most likely uninjured while peeta is extremely injured.
