Chapter 18 response

Chapter 18 started out intense and sad because Katniss was firing an arrow into an enemy while Rue was dieing. I thought that it started out very fast but the book quickly began to slow down. I was so anxious trying to figure out what would happen next that I sped read. The end of chapter 18 made the book speed up again. I was not ready to stop reading because of what was happening, it was so exciting.

Hunger games response Chapter 14

In chapter 14 there was alot of action. First the main character is trapped in a tree with people trying to kill her, then she finds a nest of tracker jackers(very poisonous wasps) and starts to form a plan. She thought to drop the bugs onto the people trying to kill her to make them run away. I was amazed at how good the plan sounded and when she did it, the book started going by fast. There so many things happening like she got stung 2 others died and the rest ran away. The book started to get confusing when she had hallucinations but i figured it out. Overall chapter 14 was filled with action and i really liked it.

My opinion on the hunger games

The hunger games is a great book. It is hard to stop reading and very entertaining. I have read the whole trilogy and have loved every single one. The author always puts something in that makes you want to keep reading and to never put it down. Everything in the book is suspenseful. It has good detail and explains everything well. It talks about the background to the setting and has action in it.
